Blagoevgrad by Chelsea Tao

August 3rd, early morning at 5:15, We started our tour around Bulgaria.


Feeling sleepy in the car toward Blagoevgrad, I wondered how the journey could be. It's really unbelievable that all of us can get together and say "Hello" all the way from countries around the world.

This should be a journey of miracle.

When stepping into the Rila monastery, I was shocked and amazed. Vary differ from all the temples I've seen in China, those black and white walls, paintings above your head and huge domes with cross on the top, bring me a totally new aesthetic experience. This kind of feeling led me continuously to explore every corner and seek for different view.(By the way, the 'Garfield catty' is really funny!)

Sometimes I still can't believe people from different countries with different culture and colors can live in a house and tease each other by some jokes we once though only ourselves understand. Anyway, those people around you DO get the point. Even we feel there may be a wall between us, it will collapse when we try to get know each other.

This is just a start,all the surprises are right there waiting for us. But we never know.
